Why we give.
At Parkway, we believe faithful living and generous giving is a lifestyle that pleases God and brings glory and honor to Him. One of the ways that we live faithfully and give generously is through regular giving through the church.
But since you excel in everything--in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you --see that you also excel in this grace of giving. 2 Corinthians 8:7

What type of financial standards are in place? It is our desire to be the best financial stewards of the resources given to Parkway. The Stewardship Team meets monthly to review financials. The Corporate Treasurer will present the financial statements at a quarterly business meeting at each campus. In addition, a business meeting is held annually for church members to vote on the annual budget. Parkway's accounting practices and financials are also externally audited by a local CPA firm. As you can see by our most recent financial audit our we strive to be good stewards of every resource that God trusts us with and we are committed to the highest standards of financial integrity and transparency.

4 WAYS TO GROW IN GENEROSITY
For some of us, giving is a natural part of our lives. For others, it takes a little bit of work. What can you do to grow in generosity? Check out these 4 things that you can do to give to others.
NOTICE NEEDS
If you fail to notice needs, you will never see opportunities for generosity. If you begin to notice needs, you see that many times a day that you can give yourself to others.
SEE YOUR RESOURCES
Once you notice needs, check to see what you have to share with someone. Do they need an encouraging word? Do they need help? Do they need money? You can help based on what you have.
PLAN TO BE GENEROUS
Don't just wait for giving opportunities to come your way. Set some money aside to give at church. Worship God through your giving. Start where you can and keep growing in generosity.
PRAYERFULLY SEEK GOD'S LEADERSHIP
As you give yourself, your talents, your resources, or your money to someone, be prayerful and ask God to use what you give to benefit and bless the person. Even as you give, never forget that the blessing comes from His work through our gift.
