After believing, your next step is to go public with your faith. When believers are baptized, they demonstrate the new life they have in Jesus. We encourage everyone who has believed in Jesus to show it by getting baptized. We baptize the last Sunday of every month at each location.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I'VE BEEN BAPTIZED WHAT IS NEXT?
Going public for Jesus takes boldness, and we want to encourage you to continue making bold moves for Jesus. At Parkway, we are no ordinary family, and we would like to invite you to join us on the journey of faith as we build relationships that build disciples. Take your next step by joing a group or finding your place on a team. You can also commit to personal spiritual growth through Bible reading, prayer, and consistent worship. Spiritual growth resources are available in the Parkway App.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I know when my child is ready to be baptized?
If your child has put their faith in Jesus for salvation, they are ready to be baptized. Baptism is one of the ways they will show others that they believe in Jesus and are following Him. Encourage them to get baptized as soon as they believe and are comfortable doing so.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
If I have recommitted my life to Jesus, do I need to be baptized again?
You are welcome to be baptized again, if your understanding of baptism has changed or if you are marking a new moment of commitment to the Lord. But, getting baptized again isn't required to live fully committed to the Lord. Instead, be encouraged by other's baptisms to continue to follow Jesus.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I was baptized as a baby. Do I need to be baptized again?
Yes. When you were baptized as a baby, it was a sign of your parent's faith and their hope that you would come to a faith of your own. When you choose to believe in Jesus as a child, teen, or adult, baptism is then your choice to show that you have believed in and are following Jesus.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I be baptized by my small group leader, relative, friend, or specific pastor?
Absolutely. Let us know who you would like to baptize you and we can make it happen.
BAPTISM & KIDS
Baptism is one of the first ways that a child shows they have believed in and are following Jesus. While we encourage every child who has believed to get baptized, we realize that this is a family decision and encourage parents to talk to their kids about what they believe about Jesus and why they want to get baptized.
Once kids are confident enough to get baptized and parents have confirmed the faith of their kids, we will gladly baptize them. Since baptism is a personal statement of faith, we don't baptize babies.
